About Us
About UsThe Vision of Lifeline:
To be a Body of Christ that is intentional about building personal relationships with the people around us while living out our love for Jesus Christ, His Gospel, and each other. The Mission of Lifeline: To shepherd the members of this Body of Christ by seeking to know, faithfully feed, humbly lead, and responsibly protect. I heard it said that Jesus never spoke to a prostitute and the reason is that He had perfect vision and could see people with the eyes of God the Father. What we would call a prostitute, Jesus would call a broken and lost child of God. With the eyes of the Father, we can learn to see all people in the same way. Romans 3 reminds us that we are all alike. No one is righteous (right with God), not one person; no one understands, no one seeks for God. All of mankind has turned aside, and together, we have all become worthless; not one person does good in the sight of God, not one person. Furthermore, not one person has a fear of God before their eyes. Look! At Lifeline, we know this truth very well, and when you walk through our doors, we will see you for who you are--just like us! We are all broken because of sin. We are not here to tell you how to live; we are here to help you live. Jesus said that He came to give us life and give it more abundantly (John 10:10). This is not about materialism; this is about life with God the Father through a personal relationship with His Son Jesus Christ. Each one of us here at Lifeline wants to walk with you as we all learn more about our Heavenly Father. Will you come and learn with us? Will you come and see that we, too, are broken? Maybe you are a broken piece that fits in at Lifeline, but you will never know unless you come and see. May the Lord Bless you and keep you--whoever you are. |
