We have returned to corporate worship at the Sperling building.
However, the challenge for all of us is that we are still adjusting to the "New Normal," which includes doing things that feel foreign. With that said, here are the guidelines that we must follow; please read through them.
Also, please know that we do not want anyone to feel pressured into returning sooner than they would like. We do believe, however, that as God's people, we are to "encourage one another to not forsake the gathering of the saints." With that said, I am still encouraging you to strongly consider attending worship with us this Sunday at 10 am sharp at the Sperling building.
However, the challenge for all of us is that we are still adjusting to the "New Normal," which includes doing things that feel foreign. With that said, here are the guidelines that we must follow; please read through them.
- We are not required by law to wear face masks while we are together for worship. However, we ask everyone to wear a mask into the building and have one to use while you are in the building if someone new shows up.
- There will be a box on the back table to place your offering into for our tithes and offerings.
- After each service, we simply wipe down the chairs we use and return them to their original spots. Family units can sit together and do not need to be separated by social distancing.
- The coffee machine has been removed, and the water fountain has been shut down. Please bring your own beverage if you feel inclined.
- Please be respectful and understand that asking others if they are alright with physical contact can cause them to feel pressured into making physical contact. At this time, some of our brothers and sisters are still uncomfortable with physical contact but might feel pressured if asked for a hug or handshake. Please do not assume that they are comfortable receiving a hug or handshake because they are present.
- EVERYONE must park in the back of the building and enter through the back door.
- There will NOT be any formal fellowship after the service. EVERYONE is being asked to move outside for relationship building while practicing social distancing. Please DO NOT stand around in the sanctuary; please exit the building as soon as possible.
